North Charleston’s Asian restaurants with their own websites are spread out: Basil and Jackrabbit Filly in Park Circle on East Montague Avenue, Phuong and 843 Korean BBQ & Sushi House on Rivers Avenue, Taste of Tokyo on West Montague Avenue and Panda Express at Centre Pointe.

How we made this list. The places come from OpenStreetMap records inside North Charleston’s city limits, the same data behind our local directory, checked against each place’s own website on Oct. 12, 2026. We added places we found in the state’s SC Food Grades inspection records and Visit North Charleston’s dining listings where the restaurant’s own site or online ordering page gave a North Charleston address. The inspection records show many more Asian kitchens in the city, including sushi, hibachi, ramen, pho, Thai and Chinese restaurants on Rivers Avenue, Dorchester Road, Ashley Phosphate Road and at Centre Pointe. Most have no website of their own that we could read, or their site was down, so they are not listed yet. The list is alphabetical. 843 Korean BBQ & Sushi House on Rivers Avenue serves Korean barbecue and sushi. Its online ordering page posts dinner hours from 4 p.m. and shows it closed on Monday.

Basil Thai Restaurant is the North Charleston location of a Thai restaurant group started by brothers Henry and Chai Eang, who came to the United States from Cambodia in the 1970s, its site says. Its menu marks spicy, gluten-free and vegetarian dishes, and it offers dine-in, carryout and delivery.

Jackrabbit Filly describes its cooking as “new Chinese American” and is on East Montague Avenue in Park Circle. It serves lunch and dinner Wednesday to Saturday, with a bar happy hour from 3 to 5 p.m., and its site says reservations are highly recommended.

Panda Express is the American-Chinese chain’s restaurant on Centre Pointe Drive near Tanger Outlets, with dine-in, takeout and delivery.

Phuong Vietnamese Restaurant on Rivers Avenue calls itself a small restaurant serving simple Vietnamese dishes. It serves lunch six days a week and dinner only Thursday to Saturday.

Taste of Tokyo on West Montague Avenue describes itself as a Japanese hibachi and sushi buffet and says it is open seven days a week. It takes online orders through its site.
