North Charleston places that state outdoor seating on their own pages are mostly along the big corridors: Tanger Outlet Boulevard and Centre Pointe Drive, Northwoods Boulevard, Rivers Avenue and International Boulevard. The Grit Counter on West Montague Avenue has a back patio. Park Circle’s East Montague Avenue has sidewalk tables, shown in the photo above, but the restaurants there do not describe them on their sites.

How we made this list. The places come from OpenStreetMap records inside North Charleston’s city limits, the same data behind our local directory, checked against each place’s own website on Oct. 12, 2026. A place is on this list only if its own site, or its chain location page, says it has a patio or outdoor seating; an OpenStreetMap tag alone was not enough. Odd Duck Market, Orange Spot Coffee and Park Pizza Co. are tagged for outdoor seating in OpenStreetMap, but their sites do not mention it, so they are left off for now. The list is alphabetical. Five Guys lists outdoor seating, along with dine-in, takeout and delivery, on the location pages for both its Centre Pointe Drive and Rivers Avenue restaurants.

The Grit Counter on West Montague Avenue shows its back patio, with seating under the trees, in the photo gallery on its site. It serves breakfast, brunch and grits bowls and is closed Monday.

Hooters on Northwoods Boulevard lists patio seating among the features on its location page, with carryout and a daily happy hour.

Mellow Mushroom on Tanger Outlet Boulevard lists a patio on its location page. The pizza restaurant is a short walk from Tanger Outlets and near the North Charleston Coliseum.

Starbucks lists outdoor seating at two North Charleston stores, on International Boulevard and on Rivers Avenue, in its store locator. Both also have a drive-thru.
